The latest innovation developed specifically for handleless kitchens has been released from leading KBB lighting manufacturer Sensio Lighting.
The new Contour profile is the first of its kind in the UK and has been carefully designed to sit just below the lip of the worktop to illuminate the handleless channel. The profile will house any of Sensio’s flexible lighting strips, making it a perfect solution for adding fully diffused ambient strip lighting into the kitchen.
“We are the first UK supplier of a handleless under worktop profile and the design is totally unique.” Said Michael Linsky, Managing Director at Sensio.
“We’ve worked closely with kitchen cabinet manufacturers and retailers to design this product specifically for handleless doors. Our customers have used flexible LED strip lights under the worktop for some time, but they wanted a continuous beam of light instead of intermittent diodes and Contour, with its diffused lens, does the job perfectly. We are delighted with the result.”
The profile has been manufactured in Polycarbonate with a grey gloss finish. The slimline profile has been created in a precise 19.5mm width and 13.5mm depth to suit most installations. Available in 1.5m and 2.5m lengths, they can be cut to the desired size, with both external and internal corner connectors making the installation both neat and simple. End caps are also provided to stop light leakage and complete the job.
